The staff were really good! yuki fournier personally delivered chicken noodle soup to our room when my son was sick. It was not even on the menu!!! the personalized concierge service was so helpful. i printed tickets and boarding passes with ease. the gold floor lounge offered a beautiful breakfast and appetizers each day!!!
the tv was a little slow when i tried to change the channels. it took a second to buffer!

The front desk provided a great experience. Jane was very helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was during Grey Cup.
The Fairmont Gold experience did not meet all expectations. The building shows its age. The bathroom door was hard to open, and it was noisy when closed.

i stayed at the gold floor again and the staff was attentive! the staff quickly addressed a heating issue in my room, sorting it immediately. i appreciated that the hotel maintains its legacy and the hotel remains in excellent condition.
the minibar usage was unclear, and i received an unexpected charge. despite calling in advance, a follow-up call about the charge was not returned, which i found frustrating.

Excellent Stay at Downtown Gem

I found the location very convenient. Designer shops including Gucci and Dior are inside the hotel. The staff assisted with printing tickets and provided maps. They also gave me excellent suggestions for local restaurants.

the location worked well. it placed me in the city center. shopping was close. the waterfront was walking distance too. the room i stayed in was spacious. the bed was huge. i had two windows overlooking the area.
i tried to check in at 3:30pm. i was told my room wasn't ready yet. i waited an hour for it. a room of lower status became available. it was not a lower price however.
